Brass Lantern is conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, gift shops, and laundromats. Local area attractions include Alaska Sea Life Center, Seward Museum, Kenai Fjords National Park, Mt. Marathon, Mt. Marathon Race, Caine's Head, Two Lakes (trail), Resurrection Bay, Exit Glacier, Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway, Old Iditarod Trail / Starting Point, and Harding Ice Field.

While you may have to stop your car to let a moose cross the road, the beauty of the area is sure to make an impression that will last a lifetime.


Seward, AK is approximately 2.5 hours (125 miles) south of Anchorage via the scenic Seward Highway.

B&B Directions: Travel south on the Seward Highway from Anchorage. As you enter into Seward, the highway changes to Third Avenue. Continue on 3rd. Turn right on to Jefferson Street and go one block, turn left on Second Avenue. We are located on the right side, second house, about two blocks from downtown.


This B & B offers a place for privacy and intimacy. The Brass Lantern is close to churches in town, the mountains, and the bay. The brass lantern offers a peacefulness so needed in our busy lives.
